Started in 1926 elsewhere in Asansol, this branch centre shifted to its present site in 2001.
Activities :
- A secondary school with 799 boys.
- Two urban junior basic schools with 297 boys.
- A vocational training centre with 123 students.
- A students' home with 66 boys.
- A library and a reading room, with 5055 books, and 18 newspapers and periodicals.
- A mobile dispensary, which treated 2654 cases during the year.
- Welfare work by way of helping poor people and students.
- Free eye camps (31 cases this year).
- Religious activities : Daily worship, regular spiritual classes, occasional lectures, and observance of Durga Puja, Kali Puja, and the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother, Swami Vivekananda and other religious luminaries.
