The Math centre was founded by Swami Brahmananda (a direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna) in 1919.
Activities of the Math centre :
- Daily worship, regular religious classes, and discourses in and outside the Ashrama premises.
- Celebration of Kali Puja and the birthdays of some prophets and saints.
- A publication department which publishes books in Oriya. Two new books were published and ten were reprinted this year.
The Mission centre was founded in 1920.
Activities of the Mission centre :
- A high school with 241 boys and 198 girls.
- A free students' home for 60 tribal boys.
- A charitable allopathic dispensary, which treated 16,040 cases (new 11,760).
- A rural mobile medical unit, which treated 5257 cases.
- A library and a free reading room with 23,791 books (22,625 issued), and 87 periodicals and newspapers.
- Monthly cultural meetings for youths.
- Occasional pecuniary help to the poor and relief work.
