The ashrama was started in 1912 and affiliated in 1924.
Activities :
- A high school with 941 students.
- A primary school with 714 students and two non-formal schools with 24 boys and 11 girls.
- A library (with 17,206 books) and a free reading room.
- A charitable homoeopathic dispensary, which treated 23,051 patients (new 3568) during the year.
- A mobile medical unit that treated 34,689 cases this year.
- Film shows using a mobile audio-visual unit.
- Religious activities: Daily worship, religious discourses, celebration of the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother, Swami Vivekananda, and other religious celebrities.
