This centre was started in 1927.
Activities :
- A hospital with 25 beds, which registered 457 admissions during the year.
- A charitable allopathic dispensary (outpatient) which treated 3493 cases this year.
- A library and a reading room with 1100 books.
- Free coaching to academically backward students.
- Regular classes and lectures.
- Youth camps and monthly retreats.
- Balaka Sangha, a cultural and recreational centre for children.
- Regular worship and bhajans, and Ramnam Sankirtan.
- Celebration of the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda, and some other spiritual luminaries.
- Welfare work by way of providing pecuniary help and other educational aids to poor and needy students.
