The centre was started in 1952 and made a branch of the Mission in 1966.
Activities :
- A high school and a junior basic school with 805 and 134 students respectively.
- A night school with 70 scheduled caste boys, 3 non-formal education centres with 95 students and a free coaching centre with 83 students.
- A hostel for 150 boys.
- A library with 7195 books, and 7 newspapers and periodicals.
- A homoeopathic dispensary, which treated 9509 cases this year.
- Distribution of clothing, milk, etc to the poor.
- Religious activities : Daily worship, celebration of the birth anniversaries of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother, and Swami Vivekananda.
