The centre was started in 1956 and was made a branch of the Mission in 2001.
Activities at Sitanagaram, Guntur district:
- A high school with 254 boys and 274 girls.
- A homoeopathic dispensary, twice a week.
- Balaka Sangha, a cultural centre for school children.
- Religious activities : Daily worship, evening aratrikam, bhajans, retreats, religious discourses, etc.
Activities at Vijaywada city centre :
- Vivekananda study circle for young men.
- Exhibitions on the lives and teachings of Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda.
- Evening aratrikam and Sunday religious classes.
